Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday held a meeting with Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Paatil and other senior officials to deliberate on the future course of action regarding the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan. In the meeting, it was decided that the water supply to Pakistan will be put on hold with immeadiate effect and ways to implement the strategy was discussed.
